Still more kittens
still no help. Kitten season is when it rains more cats then dogs. But what we have right now is a pet monsoon! We have been flooded with cats, kittens, dogs and puppies lately. I have heard dozens of theories on why this is, but what ever is going on is slamming us! Check out the web site if you have room to take any!! www.bhvf.org

Todays list and nice news
Fran has been here FOREVER! she was left out side of a vet clinic with a broken leg. We have fixed the leg and its as good as new. Fran has no idea she was ever hurt- she as silly as can be!
Jada is a 3ish year old Spitz mix. Cute and fluffy with a no place to call home.
402285 Suki- this is a sweet older girl - just 8 years old. Walks well on a leash. Suki was found by the police sleeping on a bench late one night in a park. Poor kid was down on her luck and had no place to turn.******
Nice News- Bruce the Dane has been rescued!

todays list with a few old faces
Vera is my sweet 10 year old 3 legged pit bull. I love her, but sadly Vera is depressed. I can't keep her here forever- its just no life for a ten year old dog. I am going to beg you, plead with you and hope that some one will come get her.
John is still here. fully vetted and amazingly sweet.
Regina 399768 Is still here!!! look at the squishy face. I don't know how much longer she can stay! this is a 911 dog! totally vetted
This is Buddy 402012 a sweet goofy lab. we all know his type :)
this is Sasha 402143 a 4 month old kitten who bit someone on their thumb that was "removing" her for the basement. She was scared when she bit but now we can only let her go to rescues. She is a sweet kitten and purrs when you touch her.

Update about the two APBTs girls
Hi guys. I am still in PA- and wow do I want to stay! I forgot how nice it is! There is so much land and you don't see a stray every 5 miles! Anyhow, I was sent a up date about the girls ( http://bhvfrescue.blogspot.com/2009/06/saved-untill-friday-morning.html)
Both are well and sweet; might have a home already too! Here is the rescue info, they are needing to raise funds to help cover the super med bills from the girls.

In other news the big dane mix I posted here and a few more NEED to be pulled today! I dont know if they will still be there tomorrow. I have been called and told we must get them out ASAP. So fast run down of my 911 dogs and cats- they have photos on this blog. Now you all know that the 5th of July is a BIG intake day for us so we must make the room
Great Dane mix
10 year old 3 legged APBT
Snow shoe mix
Rott mix
Beagle John
Fran the little black dog
AND MUCH MUCH MORE!
Please- If you have any room right now please pull. And also, pound on your neighbor's doors tomorrow and tell them not to leave the dogs in the back yard on the 4th.
If you need 4th of July tips to print out and give to any one I had them posted on the web page www.bhvf.org
